Surface Bubbles

Depending on whats in your water you may have foam at the outlet as the skimmer breaks in. Some things within the water is attracted to the bubble surface, hence the operation of a protein skimmer. During the break in period bubbles escape the reaction chamber and make their way to the output creating the foam of collected organics. As the skimmer breaks in you will notice less foam forming from the output.
