I have an xs 250 that's been running for a few weeks and it's really noisy where the air muffler is. It blows a lot of air causing a lot of noise. Is there any way to quiet the skimmer down? It's running 7" in water. If I put. My fingers where the air silencer is, it gets quiet. Any help is appreciated.

Are you running with both air inlets open in the silencer or are you running it with one air inlet capped? The silencer only works if you cap one of the air inlets.
