My maxspect razor 160w stopped working after some saltwater sprinkled on it.
It was working fine after the sprinkled water and lights faded and shutdown according to it normal cycle (as scheduled).
After lights shutdown I saw HOT message on the LCD and fans running eventhough there is no heat anywhere.
Next day morning the lights didnt come back as scheduled. I tried restarting the power and the timer always shows 00:00 and the knob doesn't work at all.
I removed the panels and checked for any damages or wetness, did some general cleaning.
Here are some observations, the power turns on, LCD displays properly all the info, fans are working when I used hair drier to blow some hot air.
The knob doesn't work at all, no response on LCD when I press or turn the knob.
After a series of power cycles I saw the lights turn on at their own intensity and time displaying randomly.
This happens only couple of times when I power cycle, most of the time lights are at 0% and time is 00:00 and time doesnt move.
Any idea whats wrong? The Knob seems the obvious thing which is not working but could it be the Driver board which got damaged?
Do they sell knob circuit board as well if I need to replace the knob board? and it doesn't seem easy to remove the knob circuit if I have to.
