Came home tonight to mess with new lights maxspect ethereals and noticed I had a new app on my phone. I got everything updated and loaded but it will not group my lights together. It lets me name the group and confirm my choices but then a box pops up telling me I will lose my settings if I confirm again, so I am ok with it and hit confirm and for what ever reason it will not create the group. Just looking for some help????

The new app includes new firmware and unfortunately it is not compatible with the old firmware and programming on the fixtures. Upgrading the firmware will wipe your settings and you will need to reprogram the fixtures including create the groups.

It updated the firmware on all devices. Both lights and the icv6 contollet. But it would not confirm my group. It would only let me control the lights as individual. I tried to creste group a dozen times

I came home and now have completley re set my 1cv6 contoller, and re set the lights . uninstalled everything on my phone and reinstalled everything and it still will not make a group. I can control indiviually but not within group. How do I get help. My tank is without light????

Try doing the update with your phone, ICV6 and Ethereal light all within 1 meter of your router. This suggestion was given to me by the European distributor. Maxspect it still looking into this and will get back to me in the morning.
