I own a Hurricane 500 which has a OTP-1000 Needlewheel Pump. While servicing, I dropped the small 1/2'' to 3/4'' threaded connecter for the output and it broke in half. Is there a way I can order just that replacement part or do I need to order a whole new pump?

Sure thing. It turns out it is a metric piece. I do not know the sizes as I am not familiar with metric PVC. Here is a picture of the piece. I think I could order the piece if I just knew its name and sizes if you do not carry it anymore.

With interest in clarity, the smaller end screws into the pump where the other end screws into my Hurricane 500 skimmer. I tried gluing it together and that clearly did not work.

Here in the US, we have never had a Hurricane 500 skimmer. We have had Hurricone Cat1, Cat 2 and both came with an Askoll pump. The only skimmer that came with an OTP 5000 pump was an old NWB250 which is no longer made.
Australia used to market other skimmers as Hurricane so, did you purchase the skimmer here in the US?
