Greetings i am interested in the Gyre for my 150 gallon cube tank, my question is about the controller as i saw a you tube video with BRS about having control thru an i phone or ipad. Is this in the near future? Will i be able to upgrade the controller if i buy the Gyre now? Thank you Sergio.

Yes, It will be available in the future with the Advanced Controller. The controller is scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2015.

The IceCap controller that will allow you to hook a gyre to your Apex or other 3rd party controller will be out at the beginning of August. We will let everybody know via Facebook and our website when they are ready and available for purchase.

You will need a 3rd party controller. The IceCap box is not a controller in itself. It is just the means for you to connect the gyre to a 3rd party controller.

The IceCap Interface module will be available next month. As for the Maxspect advanced controller we are told will not be available till December. We have no information on its progress nor functions.
