I want to make sure this is accurate because it seems backwards to me. The price of the Elite 200int is $599 and the price of the less efficient 200sss is $799?!!! It's well known that internal pumps are less efficient than external ones (outside the body). So why would a skimmer that is less efficient overall cost $200 more? And what could POSSIBLY justify a $200 price difference? Does the sss model gurgle golden foam? I'm just curious why a skimmer that will not perform as well costs $200 extra?
I was actually interested in purchasing the Elite 200int, but it's .2 inches to big for the skimmer area of the sump I was looking at. This is for a 180 gallon btw. So I figured I'd have to downgrade and go with the sss model, until I saw it costs MORE. And not just more, but $200 MORE. So obviously I will not be spending that much on a lesser performing skimmer that looks to be an exact copy of the Vertex skimmers.
I looked at the Regal but I want a full one piece wine bottle skimmer. I have a hybrid now and it doesn't produce as well. It seems like the price on the Elite sss should be, at the very least, the same as the int version. Yes, you're saving a few inches, but in return you get less performance. Maybe I'll see if I can find an older Prime, which an AC Elite pretty much. I wonder if the Vasios4 would fit in the Prime. Hmm...

Yes, that is correct. The price in difference is due to the extra pieces and custom modified volute needed to fit the pump inside the SSS model.
