I'm having problems with my XF250's not running at full speed with the Icecap interfaces. Even when programmed at 100% in my Apex it seems as though the Gyres run at about half the speed they did with the Maxspect controller. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is the pump assembled correctly? Are you having the same issue with the native controller?

I switched them back to the native controller and they function correctly. I assume they are assembled correctly since they work fine with the Maxspect controller.

Did you try a different port on the APEX? Also, did you try a different end of the Y cable?

I'm not using a y-cable. I'm using individual cables; one Icecap module is connected to ports V1/V2 and the other module is connected via a separate cable to ports V3/V4.

You must use the Y cable if you are running the pump in forward motion only. The only time you use the single cable is if you want to run the pump in alternating gyre mode.

I want to run both pumps forward and reverse in alternating gyre mode. I think I have the right equipment to do that, correct? Any suggestions on how to get more volume out of the Gyres? Are there firmware updates or anything like that I may not have thought of?

Yes, you will need the single cable. Did you swap the pumps propellers and cages so that it can run in alternating gyre mode or are you just using the pump as is and running it in forward and reverse?

Yes, the icecap will run the 250 just fine. Please create a private ticket so we can get some personal information and send you a replacement module.
