Kamoer FX-STP Max flow not achieved

Hello, I setup the pump as it came and measured the flow it was indicating. It was showing 140ml/min but the actual was only 103ml/min.

So I recalibrated the pump with short tube from the sump and back to avoid issues of too long tubing etc.
The max the pump can achieve is barely 105ml/min and not the specified 140ml/min which is quite dissapointing since I needed a pump that can pump in the 115/120ml range continously for my Calcium reactor.

I tried different pressure settings on the wheel and the variation is not much on the max flow.
I weigh the water with a lab grade scale in grams and assume 1ml equal 1gram, just for info.

I am sorry for the issue you are having with your pump. 140ml/min is the very max the pump is capable of producing. Why are you dosing so much effluent?

Jeremy, the pump is not performing the 140ml, only 103-105ml max. I ordered another one, and if that shows the same, then the pump is short by 40-50% underrated and over specified for it's actual performance.

I'm running that much effluent because that's needed to maintain my Alk/Ca/Mg! Excessive growth on a commercial sized calcium reactor ;-)

I reported your concern with Kamoer. Can you please send a support ticket to support.coralvue.com with a photo of the QR code off of the FX-STP, your shipping address, and your proof of purchase?

Jeremy, thank you. I opened a ticket in the system and await feedback. The other pump should arrive shortly as well.
