The drainage acrylic pipe broke off at the base. Is this something that can be fixed. I have a couple of ideas on how to fix it. From the looks of the pipe it looks like 1/2 OD and 1/4 ID acrylic pipe.
1. Drill out the original acrylic pipe and replace with new one.
2. Sleeve the inside with 1/4" thin wall acrylic and use weld on to secure.
Are either one of these feasible? Also, am I correct on the pipe size? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks Phil

The best thing to do is to weld on the broken part of the tube. If that is not possible, then you can definitely try drilling it and creating a new drain pipe that will fit your drain hose.
