Icecap 3K Gyre reverse

This is in a 90 gallon tank (4 feet long). Right now it does not move any sand at all and does nothing in reverse at all. On both things I am not very happy. no movement in reverse and at 70% forward speed it moves water bot no sand at all. Am I doing something wrong? Did I get a bad one? Help!!

You have to make sure you are running in -90 and not 90% flow on the reverse. Also in the stock configuration the pump will produce turbulent flow. If you wish to run the pump as if you had two pumps you will require a second set of cages and propellers to modify the way the pump is assembled. The IceCap 3K pump does not include a spare set of propellers and cages. These are sold separately.
