IceCap module only runs backwards?

I have an XF250 and I bought an IceCap module. It calibrates and runs in right direction and it runs in the right direction with the stock controller but whenever I try and run the IceCap with my Neptune the gyre only runs in reverse regardless of which cable I use (the split or the alternate) and regardless of how I program the profile.
