Just got my pump delivered yesterday from brs, when I try to connect it, I see that there's two ways to connect it. The first option with the intermittent blinking fails at 20% every single time, the option with the fast blinking get stuck at 60% for a couple of seconds before failing as well. I do have 2.4 and 5G Wi-Fi, however they are separate names and my phone is not currently connected to the 5G, and the SSID are unique for both

First of all, please make sure your app is connected to a 2.4Ghz network, if you have a dual band router you will have to go into the router settings to select 2.4g for your pump. If you have a mesh network you may need to get a network extender. Make sure you have the correct app installed, it is called "Kamoer Remote" After you have done this please move your pump and your phone next to the router and follow these instructions:

1) Unplug the pump power

2) Completely kill the app on your device, don't just close it.

3) Plug the pump in to power

4) IMMEDIATELY after plugging the pump in to power, press and hold the reset button for about 2 seconds or until the red light flashes twice quickly, wait about 5 seconds or so and the light will start rapidly flashing blue (if the light is flashing blue slowly, start over until it is rapidly flashing blue.

5) Open the Kamoer Remote app

6) Press the + symbol in the upper right hand corner of the app to add new device

7) Scroll down the list of pumps to the "X1 Pro 2 Dosing Pump" and select it

8) On the next screen select "I have connected home Wi-FI"

9) The app will then prompt you to enter your home WiFi and password, please do this and select "Next"

10) On the next screen the app will ask you to confirm "the blue light on the pump is flashing continuously" make sure the light is still flashing blue rapidly (if it is no longer flashing rapidly then repeat steps 3, 4) and then press the confirmation button

11) The next screen will connect your pump

If you are still unable to connect your pump please let me know...

I have two separate SSIDs, one for 2.4 and one for 5G and they have unique names. When I enter my wifi password on the Kamoer remote app I see it says "" but I'm not sure if that's just the app not displaying or if it's an actual error as it still tries to connect.

I'm not familiar enough with router settings to know how to change settings on it, but I do see an option called Mesh that I can enable or disable.

Sorry, looks like the text did not post in my last response. The SSID name says "Unknown SSID" in brackets.

I am having this exact same issue as well. Just received my pump in the mail yesterday and will not connect to Wi-Fi at all. I also stall at 20% or 60% dependent on which way I try to connect. I even had my internet supplier shut down my 5GHz to my house, so I am only using 2.4GHz right now. My SSID name is also saying "Unknown SSID"

"When I enter my wifi password on the Kamoer remote app I see it says <Unknown SSID>" You should see the name of the network you are trying to connect to in the Kamoer Remote app. If you have a mesh network you may need to get a extender, this article explains mesh networks, how to set up your router, and an extender, if needed:

This is specific to the Hydros controller but it is the same for the Kamoer pumps, they require a 2.4g network to connect. Sometimes the Kamoer pumps just take a few tries to connect, it is important to be close to the router and to put the pump into the "flashing fast" mode right after plugging the pump into power.

Just a final update, Angie worked with me over email, the full troubleshooting and info is below

Device - Pixel 4a
Wifi set to a 2.4Ghz connection
I was able to connect in the fish room that is approximately 10 feet away from the router, make sure you use the "fast blinking" connect option!
The step that I had missed was confirming location was not only just on in my phone settings but also in the app permissions, the app had given me a warning message when I turned location off and on in my phone settings, so I assumed (wrongly) that it was already permitted to use location services. After enabling, my SSID showed instead of "unknown SSID" and it connected almost immediately! Thank you once again to Angie, I hope this helps others running into the same connection problems.

Keep failing connecting at 60%.
I gave all the permission to the apps, still the same issue.

I also have a dual band router, but off course, i use the 2.4g

Please try taking the pump and your phone 15 - 20ft away from your router, it will force the router to use 2.4g. If you still cannot connect please submit a ticket so we can help you troubleshoot further:

Having this same issue with my x1 Pro Stepper T. It will not get above 60% regardless of how close I get to the router. Have Hydros running on the 2.4 network no issues so not sure why this is so difficult.
