I found that my OTP-3000 Pin Wheel was broken and had jammed the pump on my store display aquarium.
DO I need to purchase a replacement shaft or a new pump? I am not sure if the pump was damaged with the part of the pin wheel jammed into the side preventing it from turning...

Please use the "Submit a Ticket" and be sure to include proof of purchase and pictures of the impeller and damaged area. Most likely all you will need is a new impeller.

Proof of purchase I will not be able to attach that.
I did not take a picture of the impeller since it was noticeably damaged I took it apart and threw away the broken pin wheel part. The impeller would definitely need to be replaced since it was in two pieces. Part of the pin wheel got jammed into the exhaust port of the pump, so the impeller was not spinning inside the pump. This could have been like this for a week before I found my skimmer not working. I did put the impeller back into the pump and turned it on to see if it spun and it did...sort of. Not sure if there was issues because I didn't have the rest of the plastic on the impeller, the cover not being on, or the pump being demagnetized...

No, a broken impeller will not demagnetize the pump. If you can use the "Submit a Ticket" link and fill out the form and include proof of purchase (use the paperclip), I can go ahead and get a new impeller sent out to you.

Please use the "Submit a Ticket" so the information you send it private. Anything you post here can be accessed by the public. This is a public forum.
