I hooked everything up and plugged it in and it works, my only question / problem is how do I stop thousands of micro bubbles from getting into my tank because it's been happening since I got it and I don't know how to make it stop.

Make sure that the microbubble stopper on the output is installed correctly and that the sponges are in place. Some microbubbles will still make its way into the display within the first couple of weeks running but will discontinue as the skimmer breaks in.

All you do is push the "foam stopper" tube in the outlet tube and have the sponges on it? Thats what I have and my tank is still full of thousands of bubbles so I would assume it's either normal and hopefully will stop or something is wrong here

How long has the skimmer been in operation? Is the top of the foam stopper above the water level?

The foam stopper consists of the tube connecting to the clear cylinder which is surrounded by 3 sponges to cover the outlet and stop bubbles, mine is only partially covering the outlet because the air bubbles are lifting it away from the outlet. I've had it for 2 days so I was told to let it break in first

Please allow the skimmer to break in. Microbubbles are normal and harmless. They will go away as you allow the skimmer to break in. Running activated carbon can help (but not speed up) the process.

The skimmer will take a minimum of 3 weeks to fully break in.
