I purchased this skimmer 4 years ago and replaced the pump two years ago due to pulsing and surging.
Now the skimmer is doing the same thing again. Just wondering if there could be another cause of this pulsing and surging or if I will be replacing pump again.

Did you check the air intake to make sure that it is not obstructed or semi blocked? Sometimes salt accumulates inside the air tube that can cause the chugging. You can fix that by injecting fresh RO water into the air tube to wash off the accumulated salt.
