Hello. I currently have 8 modules over my 300 gal tank. It is 30" deep. Im having an issue with my corals browning, the lights are about 12" away which is as far away I can get them. The only way I can change the intensity to acclimate new corals is by using RAIN in the weather mode. Do you have any recommended settings and time points for programming a new schedule? I tried the alternate example in the manual but I think it is still too bright. I would like to reduce them by about 20%. Any recommendations and or literature on the easiest way to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I noticed a mini USB port on the side of the control, is that an interface for a computer? Sure would be a lot easier.
Thank you!

Dwight,

Which lenses (40, 70 or 100) are you using on your modules?

There isn't a one program fits all, every aquarium is different. You need to find the sweet spot where your corals respond the best and design a program around it.

Ok I can do that. Can you tell me what the percentages are for each channel at each of the time points then I can extrapolate something from there. I just need a starting point as I am still trying to understand the PAR and K.
Also what is the mini USB port on the control for?
Thank you

The USB port is for upgrading the firmware of the controller, Maxspect has not released and upgrades.
