Questions about connecting a Gyre 200 Series Controller to the IceCap Battery and % of run time.

1. What is the proper way to connect the Gyre 200 Series controller with a single xf250 pump to a single IceCap Battery?

It appears I could just use the provided IceCap Battery Link cable since the Controller provides the Y cable already. If this is correct, could I purchase a longer (4'-6') Link cable to allow for better placement of the battery in my Cabinet?

2. The Gyre 200 Series controller will allow you to adjust the run % while on battery. Will the pump run at 10 or 20% if programmed or do you need to set to 30% like on the IceCap Module?

Thanks,

Jeff

1. The way to connect the pump to the IceCap battery can be found on the back of the battery itself. There is a simple to follow diagram that will take care of any questions you may have. You can also download the instructions here... http://blog.coralvue.com/download/9156/

2. It will automatically run at around 20%. There is no way to modify the setting.

The XF250 controller comes with a Y cable but you don't need that. You can just use the Battery Backup Y-Cable (which is longer) to connect the controller to the battery the same way the old XF150 controller is connected to.
