XF130 Pulsing Mode

I've been using my XF130 in constant speed mode for a while with no issues. I recently decided to give the pulsing mode a try. When I select the mode and go to set up I can adjust the flow speed, then select set up again to adjust the pulsing speed no adjustment is allowed, nothing happens when I rotate the control dial. I then tried selecting the mode, power the unit off, waited about 15 seconds and powered the unit back on. When trying to program after power off and back on I get the same result, I can not adjust the pulsing speed. When timed with a stop watch my set flow speed runs for about 10 seconds and the low speed runs for about 25 seconds. Any suggestions?

The gyre is probably set to really slow frequency. The pulsing mode can be set as slow as 2 min off and 2 min on. The lights around the dial will blink at the same frequency starting with off first. If you are at the slow frequency, then when you are done setting up the speed and then move on to set the frequency, you will not see the lights blink at all. If you wait two minutes, you will then see the lights.

Instead of waiting the 2 minutes, just turn the dial counter clockwise a couple of times and you will see that the lights will start to blink a little more frequent. Once you see the lights blink, you will be able to set the correct frequency. Please know that the gyre will pulse each time you move the dial a click so when you are getting closer to your desired speed, go one click at a time.

Let me know if you have any issues still.

Thank you for your response Carlos. It turns out the key here was to rotate the dial counter clockwise as you stated. I was repeatedly rotating clockwise and only slightly counter clockwise with no result. I got it set to about a ten second pulse now. The low speed portion of the pulse seems to run a little longer but I'm better than I was before. Thanks again!
