x2SR intermittend conection to the app

My x2SR has intermittent connection issues with the app. On my device, it shows as 'online,' but when I try to access the 'status' tab, it is sometimes greyed out, and I am unable to set up automatic water changes. The app is unresponsive, and the 'settings' tab does not display the correct version.
