I want to setup my 2 pumps to be on a timed cycle but random mode during the day. Do I do an automatic setup where I change the times I want these flows to happen? Say 8am to 6pm Random mode at a max of 50% and 6pm to 8am constant at 20% with the B pump at antisnyc the entire time? If so, how do I do that? Please advise as I just purchased these and have not been home to even see them out of the box yet.

It will help you answer all the questions you have about using the equipment. If you are lookin for random mode, then you need to set both pumps at random. If you have one at random and the other as anti sync, then technically the second pump is not random.

Ok so both would have to be in random mode, got it. Makes more sense. I will just have ti find the happy spot for my corals. Currently have softies and LPS. The reason why I got these was to go to SPS in the future. Hopefully this will help me achieve that goal! Thanks for the response!
