Gyre 150 red light

My 1&1/2 year old gyre 150 stopped working with a blinking red light on the controller. I searched and thought that the pump had gone bad so I ordered a new pump block. The new block did the exact same thing as the old one, blinking red so I sent it back. I have now ordered a new controller assuming that could be the only other problem. I installed the new controller and the same blinking red light is happening! Is there a condition where the pump and controller go bad together? I'm getting tired of throwing money at this pump with no results! I have also tried a new power supply to no avail.
