I just bought the maxspect Gyre 230 about a month ago , if i want to add a 330 can i just buy the pump only and use the 230 controller?

Unfortunately no, the 300 series pumps are not compatible with the old controllers.

Dang that's messed up I also got a 230 and need another 230 which no where to be found pump only I want a refund

You can return the pump to the retailer that you purchased it from. We cannot issue a refund for a product that was not purchased from us.
