Cavitation

I have been running the 3k for 3 weeks now. I have noticed the pump getting very loud after 5 minutes of running. I have tried multiple setup of modes and depths. I have noticed that when I shut the pump off, bubbles pour out of the top. When I turn it back on, it is significantly quieter for about 5 minutes and then it is barely tolerable. Having the tank only 3 feet from my bed, it makes it hard to sleep. I have to ramp the pump down to 10 percent at night just so I can rest. Is there anything that can be done about the cavitation? Or am I just going to have to return the pu.p and get a real maxspect?

I am having exactly the same issue, the pump pulls the air from the water and becomes so loud you would think it is running at a 150% (it is not pulling the air from the top of the tank either). I have it running 10/30%. I tried cleaning it and even attempted to replace the bushings, just like it was shown in the video ( it looked very simple). However, the bushings are impossible to take off, I tried to use a lot of force but I am afraid to snap the ceramic shaft. Please Update this FAQ if you get it resolved.
