You would need to use a light meter and compare to your other units.

3 brand new bulbs seem much much more yellow than previous bulbs. Would this be possibly related to over/under driving?

i had 2 hamilton 175w 6.5k that i sent back. they were as yellow as could be. i replaced them with a ushio 10k and it's rather yellow. the other one i replaced with a 14k hamilton and it is bluish like it should be. i tried switching the 2 bulbs with each others socket. same result. 10k is more yellow than i think it ought to be. 14k is still bluish. maybe i'm just seeing things.
