My BH1000 produces a loud buzzing/rattling noise from the collection cup top vibrating against the collection cup body. It doesn't always happen - there's some combination of collection cup level and skimmate fill level that leads to it, but when it happens it's VERY annoying and audible from ~20ft away. I had hoped it would go away as the unit "broke in", but it's been over a month and it's still happening.
Is this just how the simmer operates, or is there something wrong with my unit?

Please check to see if your lid is flat. If you remove the lid does the sound go away?

The lid has started to warp so it bends upwards at the edges. If I remove the lid the sound goes away

Please submit a support ticket at coralvue.com/support with your proof of purchase and your shipping information and I will have a replacement sent. Please make sure that any heat source near the lid may cause it to warp. Also extreme temperature variations tend to warp acrylic as well.
