Hello,
I just installed the BH2000 and the pump is leaking behind the bracket that screws a quarter turn to lock, near the water intake. It is leaking about one drop every 30 seconds. This is not the connection that I had to do during installation but appears to be coming from the pump. Is there anything I can do to stop this leak?

Are you referring to the volute? Is it leaking from the volute? The volute is the cover that keeps the impeller in place.

Is the o-ring installed correctly on the volute?

I am also experiencing a leak in the exact same place. The o-ring appears to be intact and in place. Do you have a solution for this issue?

Take the pump apart, clean it and make sure that when you put it back together, all parts are fitted correctly. Make sure that there are no cracks or missing tabs on the volute (cover that holds the impeller in place) or any other cracks near the pumps outlet or intake.

As it turns out there is a crack in the volute housing (not the cover, but the circle that the cover attaches to). This was just purchased a little over a year ago...is there a chance of getting a replacement?

Tom,

Unfortunately the pump is out of warranty. Here is a link to the pump on our website if you would like to purchase a new one.
