Can I get an explanation on what the ON/OFF feature does when you run the LTC preset?
I am under the impression that LTC is a 24 hour preset, and I am running LTC and I notice it runs LTC preset regardless of the ON/OFF position.
But the when I read the app description of when I toggle the ON/OFF switch, I get the impression that when ON, LTC is then a preset that is using a 30 day sequence? is that correct and if so, what are the advantages of this?

I wasn't aware that the LTC as a 28-30 day cycle. ( wow ). This explains a lot.
I normally take off my Gyres to clean them. When I do, I put them into feed mode, then un-connect one Gyre at a a time, take it apart and clean it, then put them into feed mode again and re-connect the Gyre. ( rinse repeat for Gyre #2 )
Would this activity reset the 28/30 day cycle ( Feed mode and disconnect/reconnect ?) ??
I imagine if I shut off the controller ( hold button down for 5 secs ) then that would restart the cycle, ??

No, the controller has an internal clock that you did set when you first configured the automatic setting on the controller.
