Maxspect firmware 1.6

One of my ethereals will not download the firmware update 1.6. It fails every time. Before this update my lights were functioning perfectly. I keep the ICV6, the light, and the mobile device within 3 feet of each other and it just fails every time.They are also totally level with each other. I desperately need this to work, because my tank can't go on without light...

Most likely you will need to hard reset the actual ethereal fixture (not the ICV6).

To reset the Ethereal, just disconnect power, press and hold the control dial then reconnect power. Once the power has been resumed while the control dial is pressed, you can see the RGB light flashing red and green, then let go of the control dial, then press and hold it for 5 seconds, the Ethereal is now reset.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried this method many times. I've tried updating with both an apple device and an android device, I've tried resetting the icv6 controller, I've tried different WiFi networks. It seems that no matter what I do this light will not take the new update. I have reached 100% a few times, but it never allows me to select it, only to re-update it again.

Try doing the update with your phone, ICV6 and Ethereal light all within 1 meter of your router. This suggestion was given to me by the European distributor. Maxspect it still looking into this and will get back to me in the morning.

I took your advice and placed all of the objects within 1meter of each other. However, the light update continues to stop partially through the update or reaches completion but does not actually update.
