I am contacting you on behalf of the Heart of America Aquarium Society. Our club has is entering its 67th year in existence in 2017 so we know how to adjust with the times. HAAS is an all-inclusive Aquatic hobby club; our members keep freshwater, marine and aquariums as well as ponds. HAAS brings in nationally prominent speakers, like Rusty Wessel (cichlids & collecting in Central America), Gary Lange (Rainbow fish) and Scott Fellman (reef tanks) to speak at our monthly meetings. Bringing in these speakers while helping the club grow, it is putting a drain on the club’s finances. We finance the club with auctions twice a year.
The donations that vendors have provided us in the past have really helped us with the financial needs of the club. If you have any samples or donations of products that we could use for auctions, we would greatly appreciate the support. We accept all forms of donation; current merchandise, old stock, discontinued items, scratch and dent, gift certificates, you name it. We have upgraded our tax exempt status to 501-c so all donations are tax deductible. Donations can be shipped to the address below. I will send you an itemized receipt of all items that you donate.
Aquarium clubs provide a valuable resource for aquarium hobbyists. We hope to continue offering services to beginners and experts in the aquarium hobby. We would appreciate a partnership with your company to help promote both of us. If there is anything our club can do to promote the goodwill of your company, please let us know. We would be happy to hand out literature, samples or information about your company or products at any of our club’s events. We could advertise your company with a banner our website kcfishclub.org (1100 members currently). All sponsors will have a link from our website to yours. Again, I want to thank you for your support of our club.
