Hello,
The smart ato micro works great throughout the day but every morning when I wake up the alarm is sounding. I have it in the rear chambers of my JBJ 45 all in one tank. Is it possible the difference in the lights on the tank from day to night are affecting it?
Thanks,
Matt

No, the Micro has an electronic sensor that does not rely on light to know where the water level is.

Any suggestions on why it is having an issue at night? I have cleaned off the sensor, made sure the water level in the ato tank is full. I'm not sure what else could be affecting it. Again it only seems to happen sometime throughout the night as every single morning the alarm is going off and the light on the sensor is flashing red.

Thanks again,
Matt

Does the tank evaporate more water at night? The micro always remembers the previous filling and if the next filling takes much longer than the previous one, it will trigger the alarm. Has the skimmer been collecting more than usual at night?

The evaporation may be more at night, I'm not sure how to tel other than disconnecting the ato for a few days to test it. The skimmer seems to be pretty stable through out the day and night. The temp is lower in the house at night so the a/c probably runs more which I'm sure would cause a little more evaporation but the levels should remain the same the ato would just have to turn on more often right? If the ato has to turn on more often at night would that trigger the alarm? Is there a way for me to correct this? I love the ato except for this issue I would hate to have to go back to float style, please help me figure this out lol
