Install and configure a new ICV6 controller

I am trying to install and configure a new ICV6 controller. I have existing equipment (3 Ethereals lights and 2 Gyre 230’s pumps )

I do think the new ICV6 controller is connected to my internet . I configured it and the Blue wireless light is on solid blue. But my lights or pumps do not show in the SYNA-G app.
I get the device not found error.
I did clear the cache on the app just in case.

I suspect that it might be because my devices are already paired to the older controller(?). The instructions say to reset the device to unpair it and then try again.

How do you ‘reset’ the device ( Lights and pumps )? By unplugging them for a while or is there a reset sequence I need to go thru for the lights and the pumps.
And of course, I don't want to lose my light settings.

Yes, if the lights and pump are paired with an older ICV6, they will not show up on the new controller until you reset both lights are pump.

To reset the Gyre, unplug the gyre controller and then do the following:

1) Press and hold the center button on the dial and connect the controller to power.
2) On the settings menu, select "Reset"

Once you do that, you should be able to connect the pump to the ICV6.

To reset the Ethereal, just disconnect power, press and hold the control dial then reconnect power. Once the power has been resumed while the control dial is pressed, you can see the RGB light flashing red and green, then let go of the control dial, then press and hold it for 5 seconds, the Ethereal is now
reset.

Thanks for the quick reply .. Quick question.
I tried to reset the Gyres today and the settings menu has the following options:

Upgrade
Restore
Initiatlize
Test Mode
Exit

No 'reset'. Did you mean for me to use 'Initialize' instead?

Thanks Carlos -

I reset the Ethereal lights and they connected to the new ICV6 controller. I did lose my settings with the Ethereal reset and had to redo those ( ugh )

The Gyre pumps have not been discovered on the new ICV6 controller.
I have tried both "Initialize" and "Restore" settings options, but the controller does not see/discover the Gyres.

Could it be a firmware issue:
On resetting, The Gyres say Maxspect 250.A20 version 1.4. Is there a later firmware version that I need to be on for this newer ICV6?

Yes, in order for the Gyre controller to work with the ICV6, they need to be running on Firmware 2.0 or greater.

You should be able to delete it from the app, if not please contact Maxspect for help with this, we never received their WiFi or Bluetooth Floodlights so we do not know how they operate with the ICV6.
