Why does the classic 90 skimmer come with an extra appx 1/2 inch diameter tubing and extra valve (e2)? I dont see anywhere on the instructions about there use and do not want to miss adding it somewhere if neccesary.

The extra tubing is drain tubing for the collection cup and the valve is for the airline; you can splice the airline and add the valve to the tubing so that you can make micro adjustments to the air going into the pump.
