Pump is leaching voltage into the sump... is there any fix for this or do I have to replace the pump? It still works great

How old is the pump? Have you tested just the pump in a bucket of water to confirm that it is the pump?

I’m not sure, I got it second hand... it is the pump because the voltage is gone when I unplug it. Taking the back cover off there’s a break in the power cord at the epoxy (or whatever) on the back of the windings.
