XS-160 Pump Replacement

I love this skimmer so much and wanted to think about getting a back up pump, and wanted to come to the source for options. Am I limited to the PSK pump, or can I get something different? A DC pump would be great, or maybe one of coralvue's new pumps?

You cannot use a DC pump but you can definitely use a Bubble Blaster 2000 pump...

Just make sure you select "Diablo XS160 Adapter" when adding it to the cart so it includes the right conversion kit.

All depends on your system and if you have the organics and the need to add the neck extension to your skimmer. If you do not have the organics, then the neck extension won't work and you will end up with a skimmer that does not collect. You can lower the skimmer to raise the water level inside the skimmer but that in itself would nullify having the neck extension.
