I just received a replacement pump for my skimmer. The old and new pumps both say Aquatrance AQ-1000s but the new one has Venturi and a 3/4" adapter thing. How in the world does this work? The old one has two threaded things just like the advertised pictures. Help!

The Aquatrance comes with several different volutes and output fittings to fit different skimmers. In order to use the the stock pump you will have to swap the volute of the old pump or obtain the correct volute cover shown here: http://www.coralvue.com/aquatrance-volute-cover-2264
