Hi there.
I can't speak on behalf of CoralVue, but thought I would share my experience with doing this exact same thing on the Regal 200 EXT.
Referring to the attached setup diagram for the Regal 200 EXT, I simply disconnected "Part F" (the Air Hose) and instead used a 3/8" silicone tube to connect the outlet of my CO2 Scrubber directly to the "Air Intake Device" (Part H). However, take care to leave the supplied Air Hose (again, Part F) connected to the base of the Silencer (Part C) and then PLUG the free end. Otherwise, when your Collection Cup fills up, it will simply overflow into the silencer and then out onto your floor!
NOTE - alternatively, you could simply plug the end of the Overflow Hose (part D) and just get rid of the silencer and air hose all together.
For bonus points, you can implement a "recirculating CO2 scrubber" in order to significantly reduce the rate at which you consume CO2 adsorption media. Doing this takes a little more effort, as it requires drilling a hole in the Top Cover (part A) and using a barb x stem adapter fitting to connect a new silicone tubing to the lid and then connect the other end to the INLET of your CO2 scrubber. You will also have to seal the air holes in the Top Cover (I used Duct Tape) AND plug the Overflow Hose (Part D) before it goes into the silencer tube. If you take these steps, then all of the air exiting the skimmer cup will be re-directed back into the CO2 scrubber, and then back into the Venturi inlet for the VarioS pump. This should easily triple the expected life of our CO2 adsorption media.
