Aside from the gate valve, P/N #ROP-Gate and the extender, which I can either buy or cut myself, what else do I need. My existing skimmer has the old style tube for water level adjustment and also has the clear flexible tubing coming from the pump. Do I need a silencer to complete mod. Thanks

The silencer is not required but it will definitely help keep the noise level down.
