Skimmer is leaking at the o-ring on the collection cup back into the sump. How can I fix this?

Please make sure that the o-ring is properly installed and that there is no substance that is preventing a tight seal. Removing the o-ring and cleaning it along with cleaning the o-ring channels takes care of the issue.
