I noticed when i purchased my skimmer that the pipes that connect the pipe from inside the skimmer to pipe exiting the skimmer to be a to loose when the exit pipe and bubble catcher is in the down position. I the only way from keeping my skimmer from leaking is if i tighten the exit pipe more causing the bubble catcher and exit pipe a;most at 90 degrees from where it should been.

What model skimmer do you have? In what location is the seal located on the inside or outside?
