I’m new to saltwater, and this is my first skimmer. When I opened the box I was disappointed find out there are no instructions included. I assumed I’d find them published online, but no luck. I did my best to put it together in the sump of my Reefer 250, and it seems to be working. However, I was left woth a few extra parts and the pump is loud as hell. I’m hoping it’s user error because my tank is otherwise ilent. Can anybody help me or did I just buy a lawnmower?

Sorry for the lack of instructions. Attached is a set of instructions for the IceCap K1 skimmers. As for the noise it is normal to be louder than normal for the first 2-3 weeks as the skimmer breaks in. If the noise sounds like something may be broken I would suggest removing the pump and inspecting the impeller for damage that may have occurred during shipping.
