Faulty newer ATO

My ice cap ato was/is making a beeping noise with the red light flashing and now doesn't stay on I'm thinking the controller box is faulting the unit is less than 5 months old. All I tried was pushing the reset button and the controller stopped. There is plenty of water in my storage container which I thought was the cause of the alarm. I hope that it is something easy to fix seeing the age of the unit and the price that goes along with it .... Marc
