Just purchased unit in the float switch is not turning off the unit and when I pause the unit for feeding when it comes back on the level of bubbles is way lower

Actually the float switch was my fault I did not have the button on. I didn't realize what the buttons do. So the float switch is working fine. However when the unit turns off for feeding and comes back on the level is much lower and I feel like I have to manually adjust to get the Bubbles at the right level again is that normal does it need to ramp up over time?

After turning the pump back on after feed mode do you wait to see if the bubble level rises? It may take a little time(2-3 minutes) for the bubble level to go back to where it was.
