Once the skimmer breaks in (duration of 3-4 weeks) you adjust the output valve till you obtain pea size bubbles from where the skimmer cup attaches to the skimmer body. Then adjust it accordingly making small adjustments once every other day till you obtain your desired concentration of collection.
