I have 2 Icecap 3k and 2 Gyre 250.....and the Icecap make a lot more noise than gyre.....A lot.
I disassembled, cleaned, remounted......after some days, noise.....
Today I noted some air bubbles inside the rotors.
I turned the pump off....And then turnedi t on.....a lot of air come out of the pump.
i repeat it 30 or 40 times....with 1 sec intervall....All the air come out and the pump run as silent as Gyres....
Then, 2 hours laters, noise again......and air traped inside the rotors again....
All my pumps are vertically mounted, running in continuous mode at 100% of power.....
There are something that I can do about it?

Do you have the same issue if you run the pumps horizontally? Also, if you remove the propellers and the cages, is the pump noisy still?

Without the cages the pump is silent.
A note: I try to turn off and on the gyres.....no air comes out from the rotors...And they are quite silent.
I'm thinking about give up on Icecaps and purchase 2 new Gyres.....
But this is a frustrating solution...
