Bought the ATO micro about 2 months ago. The sensor is great and very reliable. The pump is terrible though. Sometimes it works other times it makes a sound like it's pumping but no water is returned. The pump is 4' below the top of the waterline and there is plenty of water in the fresh water tank. The pump intake is clear. Anything I'm missing?

I used the tubing that was supplied with the pump. I believe it is 6'.

The recommended length for the ato is 4"-5" from the reservoir to the tank, anything longer than that and the pump will have trouble pushing the water that far. It also depends on vertical height and how many bends you have in the tubing. Try shortening the tubing and see if that helps.
