Gyre pump wires exposed

Question for you. I’m beginning to see some exposed wires at the point where the gyre wiring attaches to the pump.
There isn’t any voltage leakage or anything that I can find, but I’d like to fix this somehow. What the best recommendation to getting this repaired?

Note that I have the 200 series pumps which aren’t available anymore so “buy a new one “ is not the best option. Buying two new 300 series gyres aren’t the best option right now and there is no reason to suspect the same doesn’t happen on 300 series gyres as well (right?)

Both my pumps are working just fine - outside of this exposed wire issue.

Can I use aquarium sealant and cover the wires with that?
Perhaps liquid tape around the wires?
Someone suggested that I can purchase a replacement motor?

What would you recommend?
