The instructions that came with this pump shows arrows pointing to the inlet port (the top port). Does this mean that the pump is "Pulling water" or "Pushing water"?
Also, does the smaller (the top tube) or the larger tube (the bottom tube) connect to the 'inlet port' on the lid of a calcium reactor? I think I may have connected this backwards (?).

The input is at the top and output is at the bottom. You can have it push or draw into the reactor. I prefer drawing/controlling the effluent on calcium reactors but push water into Kalk reactors. Here is a video that covers the pump and its operations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abal-pXuowY
