sro xp2000 sss with a bubble blaster 3000?

My stand is too short to allow an sro 3000 and was wondering if there would be any benefit of upgrading the 2000 bubble blaster to a 3000 bubble blaster or would I have to get an external protein skimmer? I do have an automatic neck cleaner on it as well. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately that is not possible. The HY-3000S is too much pump for the skimmer body you got. The body of the current skimmer you got is not wide enough and not tall enough to be able to handle the HY-3000S even if the output flow valve is fully open.

No, the DC5500 is comparable to the HY3000. Yes, you can throttle it back but then, you end up with the flow of the HY2000 anyway.
