I can seem to remove the wetside section of my Gyre 280 pump. I can remove the magnet outside. Is there some trick, I don't recall any anhesive type of material that would make it stick to my glass?

No, the XF180 motor does not come apart like the others. It is one piece.

You misunderstand my question. I cannot remove my 280 pump from the inside of my tank, it is stuck to the glass even when I removed the magnet on the outside of the tank.

Probably just attached via suction. I would just carefully rock it until the suction is released.
